Magnolia Park bungalows and post-war tracts.

Around Magnolia Park and the older streets south of the boulevard, the houses are twenties and thirties bungalows and Spanish-revival cottages. Those bathrooms came with cast iron tubs and period tile — often in strong colors that people either love or want gone. Both are fine: we can refinish the tub and leave the tile, or do both and change the color of the room entirely.

The rest of the city is largely post-war, and those bathrooms are the standard steel alcove tub with a tiled surround.

Burbank also has a lot of small multi-unit buildings and guest houses being rented out. Same argument as anywhere else with tenants: a refinished tub gets a unit shown again without a contractor.
